Silverback's unique Carbon Aero Technology is the result of extensive research, testing and rider feedback with the sole intention
of providing an unparalled carbon riding experience across both road and MTB platforms.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Computer simulated analysis asssits the engineering processes of product design.
This technology allows a design engineer to evaluate the product in the following ways
:
- Product geometry (2D drawing)
- Product structure
- Carbon fibre material composition
- Product boundary condition

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Aerodynmaic performance and properties are carefully evalauted by means of wind tunnel testing. These computer simulated testing systems allow us to examine the aerodynamic properties of drag and variety of other co-efficients, ultimately allowing for a more competitive end-product.

Thermo Plastic Mesh (TPM)
This technology has been developed to be used in conjunction with the EPS system, including the prevention of cracks "progressing", and an increase in "anti-fracture" resistance.

Ethyle Poly Styrene (EPS)
Silverback is utilises a new production process that results in a "wrinkle free system" in the production of a carbon frame. This is achieved by using EPS as a stable single use mandrel system for lay-up productions. This in turn reduces the stress concentration of carbon products.

High Toughness Resin (HTR)
This is an exclusive material developed in colaboration with one of our most advanced carbon manufacturers. This technology has been designed to meet the demands of a market place requiring high performance frames that are light yet also stiff. In the past, high module frames had a limited life span and were prone to cracking.

The implementation of a new resin system to our production material will translate to a 20% increase in impact resistance. Test factor: Specimen test acccording to ASTM with regular resin: 80kg/cm2 and HTR resin: 98/cm2
